We’re still fine-tunin’ a few details, so swing back often for the latest updates — and get your team lined out, your ropes ready, and your skis waxed. It’s almost go-time!
Pro Division: Teams are considered to be the highest-skilled competitors with the fastest and most skilled horses. The Pro division will follow a double match format where the horse, rider, and skier will be the same. A horse can only run twice. The best time of the team’s two runs will be taken per day.
This division will be invitational based on competitors' previous racing records in the open division. (25 Teams)
Open Division: Teams are considered to be the highly skilled competitors with the faster and more skilled horses than the sport division. Skiers are limited to four entries and horses two entries. (30 Teams)
Sport (Amateur) Division: Teams are considered to be intermediate level skill participants riding horses that may not have the experience to be in the Open Division. Skiers are limited to four entries and horses two in the Sport class. (50 Teams)
Women’s Division: Dedicated division for teams consisting of female rider and skier. Skiers are limited to four entries and horses two entries. (30 Teams)
Snowboard Division: Snowboarders are limited to four entries and horses two in the snowboard class. (30 Teams)
Switcheroo (All Around) Division: A team consists of a rider, skier, and horse. From Saturday to Sunday the rider and skier must swap places meaning that whomever rides the horse on Saturday must ski on Sunday and vice versa. The same horse must be ridden each day. (20 Teams)
Novice (Beginner) Division: Teams are considered to be new to the sport, beginner level competitors riding horses that may be brand new to the sport. (50 Teams)
Junior Division: Teams are for kids twelve and under. Both the rider and skier must be under twelve in order to be eligible for awards. (15 Teams)
